Ranking #1 on Wattpad Today

With 2014 coming to a close, I’ve got a few more days before I need to wrap up my #NaNoWriMo novel-in-progress, Loving Ashe, before it heads to an editor.  Right now, it’s currently #1 under Chicklit on Wattpad and I’m pretty thrilled it made it that high.  I should be celebrating little triumphs, right, even if it’s only on a reader platform like Wattpad and not exactly generating any income for me as a writer?

And with it already 2015 on the other side of the globe, it’s time to welcome the new year with open arms.  I’m sure there’ll be more writing and more editing, and more publishing, even if it’s indie publishing, which some of my real-life clients aren’t too happy about at the moment.  They’re still hoping that I at least query my work to agents and see what happens.  I guess we’ll see.

But it is what it is. For now, I’ll just keep on writing.  And I hope you do, too!

Good idea, keep doing what you’re doing. I think you should shop your stuff around, they are always looking for people who can knock stuff out the way you do. Not much for the chick lit myself but, the other stuff I’ve read of yours is excellent. If I had the kind of reaction to what I do as you do, I would probably have the courage to send it out. It’s cheap to make all this copies and pay the shipping a hundred times but that’s how it used to be done. S.K. actually wallpapered an entire room with rejection letters before they finally published Firestarter. I’ve only had a handful of people who thought I had the right stuff,. you have thousands! I believe 2015 might be your year, you have too much stuff and too much talent to be ignored, go for the gusto Kid! Happy New Year!!!

Thank you so much, Kevin! And Happy New Year to you!

Don’t blame you for not being into chicklit at all – chicklit, it turned out, found me. I thought I was into all those Stephen King, Peter Straub, Neil Gaiman stories (still am) though when it comes to writing, turns out I’m all mushy and all that.

Once I nail this ending and send it off to the editor, I guess it’ll be a waiting game till then so I’ll be writing. Got more ideas in the queue 🙂
